Kristin Johnson earned a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her extensive scholarship also includes tenure as a research assistant during her graduate and undergraduate career. She has co-authored two peer-reviewed journal articles and studied American Sign Language.
Dr. Kristin Johnson’s own experience with a movement disorder helps fuel her passion for helping others. She set out to be the kind of doctor she always wanted — compassionate, understanding, patient — and has accomplished just that. Nothing brings her more joy than when patients fit with hearing aids return with stories of the nature sounds they can hear.
Outside the office, you’ll likely find Dr. Johnson enjoying time with her fiancé, whether going for walks, trying new foods, playing games, or watching movies. Her favorite part of arriving home each day is seeing her beloved pets, including her rambunctious puppy, Crash, and stoic rabbit, Benjy.
