Lainey Esser brings a strong background in service and healthcare, beginning with her tenure in the United States Marine Corps. During her time in the military, she observed critical opportunities to enhance hearing health awareness and preventative care for both herself and her fellow service members.

Following her enlistment, Lainey worked alongside a psychiatrist in North Carolina, where she developed a keen interest in the connection between hearing loss and cognitive decline. Her passion for this field deepened through personal experience, as she witnessed her grandfather, a U.S. Navy veteran, experience progressive hearing loss without intervention, ultimately leading to cognitive decline.

Currently, Lainey is pursuing the CAOHC certification to expand her expertise and further her commitment to improving hearing health—not only for active and former service members but for all patients at BNA.

Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, listening to thought-provoking podcasts, and immersing herself in nature.
